Rocky is a
crane. He
is
very strong and has the ego of a teddy bear:
He wants to be everyone’s best friend.
Rocky has the strength to do all the big jobs Harvey can’t - like
lift derailed engines back on to the tracks!
But Rocky has no engine. Another
engine has to pull Rocky to wherever he is needed. Rocky quickly proves
himself as a valuable addition to the Island.
Not by aggressive shows of strength, but by doing what has to be
done quickly, quietly and with great care.
Rocky is the gentle giant on the Island of Sodor.
