Thomas Station would like you to be completely satisfied with your on-line purchase(s).  If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with any item, please return it within 30 days of delivery (Electric Trains related products within 7 day of delivery).

Exchange/Refund Restrictions
bulletThomas Station will not exchange or issue a full refund for used or damaged items caused by the negligence of the consumer or normal wear and tear usage.
bulletThe returned item(s) must be in its original unopened packaing and in resalable condition.
bulletThomas Station will not exchange product or give payment refund for items returned 30 days after the calculated delivery date.
bulletIf an item purchased from Thomas Station is defective, the product can only be exchanged for the same product/title or format ordered. Example: A DVD will be replaced with a DVD of the same title; a VHS cannot be replaced with a DVD format.
bulletThomas Station will process exchanges/refunds after the product is returned in original condition.  Instructions should be included to indicate if an exchange or refund is desired (i.e. T-shirt size).
bulletIf the item is not available for exchange, Thomas Station will provide a refund for the item(s) returned 30 days after the calculated delivery date.
bulletA refund of the price of the item and any applicable taxes will be issued in the original form of payment used to purchase the item. Please note that this also applies to items received as gifts. If you return a gift, the purchaser will receive the refund in the original form of payment they used to make the purchase.
bulletPurchaser and/or Recipient are responsible for shipping costs of  exchanged item(s).

 


What is Thomas Station’s policy for refunding shipping costs?

bulletHandling and shipping charges are not refundable.
bulletIf an order which qualified for free shipping is returned or refused, the purchaser will be refunded the cost of the merchandise returned less the cost of all shipping cost incurred.
bulletIf item(s) returned for an order that received Free Shipping during a Free Shipping Promotion and the adjusted order total (not including shipping and taxes) falls below the promotion amount will result in the shipping amount to be deducted from the refund amount.
bulletA package that is refused for delivery is considered the same as making a return and the customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges.  These charges apply even if the original order qualified for free shipping.  If an invalid or undeliverable address is provided when the order is placed and the shipping company returns your package to us, it is the same as making a return and the customer is responsible for all shipping, address correction, and handling charges already incurred by Thomas Station.

 


May I return an item purchased from a local retail store or other online store?

Please contact the original store, where your item was purchased, for assistance with their return policy.  If the store is unable to help you, you may contact the manufacturer or HIT Entertainment for additional assistance.

 

 

 

Instructions for Thomas Station merchandise return.

bulletAny items returned must be new, unopened, never assembled and still in its original packaging. 
bulletPlease save your Invoice.  This will serve as your receipt.
bulletInclude an explanation for your return.  Also, provide a copy of your Invoice, name, address and a contact phone number.
bulletIf exchanging an item, it must be for the same item otherwise the item will need to be returned for a refund and a new order will need to be placed.  Provide item number and description of desired exchange item (i.e. If exchanging a t-shirt, provide item number and size needed). 
bullet If the item is not available, a refund will be issued.
bulletRepack your item(s) in the original box or shipping envelope and tape package securely.
bulletFor your protection, we recommend you ship your return insured and prepaid via a traceable method like UPS or insured Parcel Post. 
bulletCredits to a credit card will be applied immediately upon processing, but may not appear on your statement for one or two billing cycles.
bulletIf an item was received defective or in error from Thomas Station please email or call Guest Service at 800-890-2087.

 

How is my refund calculated?

Merchandise returned within 30 days of delivery in original packaging and new or unopened condition will receive a full refund for only the items returned.  Merchandise that does not meet our returns guidelines may receive only partial refunds:

bulletAny merchandise that has obvious signs of use, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will receive a partial refund of up to 50% of the purchase price.
bulletThomas Station merchandise returned more than 30 days after calculated delivery date will incur a 15% restocking fee per item returned and receive Store Credit.
bulletShipping charges are not refundable.
